  • NPC Climbers have water in inventory by default
  • Removed screenshake (was causing janky z-buffer issues)
  • Oxygen now consumed at lower rate

  • Mature content mode! Mature content can now be toggled on or off via the options menu. I believe that means that #Everest now falls under the category of “Games for Grandma”
  • “Unread” indicators added to inventory shop pages and to teammate climber inventories

  • In prep shop window, item descriptions now display on phone screen rather than in a separate tooltip window

1.2.0 Changes

  • Player can now adjust music, voice, and sound effect volume individually from the pause menu
  • Implemented “Talk” feature, which includes some gameplay hints, Everest trivia, and some dumb bullshit
  • Added morale system – if the player character’s photo gets a lot of likes, they’re happy and regenerate health and stamina twice as fast. If their photo gets snubbed, they’re sad and regenerate health and stamina at half the normal rate.
  • Game now warns you if you attempt to embark without many “junk” items (with accompanying narration)
  • Fixed issue where Tori’s death narration audio was mismapped in several places
  • Changed several in-game windows to look like messages on the player character’s phone
  • Implemented social media notification narration
  • Implemented additional Death Zone dialogues
  • Unique narration now occurs when character dies due to fall
  • Main game window now shows player’s total score at all times
  • Improved exception handling
  • Modified point values of some items
  • narration for the first time a character’s encumbrance goes over 150lbs
  • Visual notification on theft event
  • Added GBS 2016 Everest death pool predictions as possible hallucinatory text messages

What are you thankful for, Slam Fighters? I’m thankful for a new build of Slam Fighter II, v.1.3.0!

Changes:

  • All text has been replaced to eliminate anti-aliasing and make the game look sexier than ever!

Yeah I know, it’s just one thing, but this was a heck of an overhaul and I think you’ll really like the new look! Why don’t you give it a try right now?

Just in time for the Halloween weekend, here’s the latest update to Slam Fighter II v.1.2.1 – Oni-Con Edition!

Changes:

  • In Versus mode when p2 highlights the same character as p1, the selection icon now makes it clear that both players have highlighted the same character
  • When alt costume is enabled on character select screen, the character’s small portrait also shows alt costume
  • Game now checks for latest version at startup
  • Tutorial now accessible via title screen menu
  • Title and options menu text now displays without anti-aliasing

Slam Fighter v.1.2.0 – Mirror Match Edition!

It has been an exciting day for Team Dogpit! Not only was Slam Fighter II one of the games demoed at the Playcrafting Expo today, we have a hot new build ready to roll out with some awesome new features!

Changes:

  • In versus mode, player two can now select the same character as player one. Give it a shot — you may be surprised by the result!
  • Characters now have alternate palettes. Switch up your look by pressing “x” on the character select screen
  • B. Stag is now voiced by NYC-based actor and improv comic Colin Marsh!
  • User can now press esc to exit match in progress
  • Minor art and bug fixes
